folky monochrome

17/06/2014

Top: River Island          Harem Pants: Next         Hat: Topshop         Necklace: Primark

Hello!
It's been beautifully warm and sunny here recently - so unusual for Wales, but I'm not complaining! Naturally, whenever the weather is as amiable as this, I start piling on the floaty fabrics. Harem pants have been one of my summer staples for the past 5 years or so. Yes, they may go in and out of fashion, but they're in my wardrobe to stay. At least for the conceivable future.

I'm not normally a monochrome kinda gal, as even a periphery glance at my blog will probably tell you, but in the case of this outfit I think the pattern and the hint of sheer provided by the top made up for the lack of colour. I really like its laid-back, folky vibe - perfect for festival season (which, FYI, I'm SO excited about)!

xx
