Jumper: New Look
Trousers: H&M
Necklace: Topshop
Bag: a little shop in Cavtat, Croatia

Hello!
I've had a bit of an unintentional break from blogging recently - as often happens, life got in the way.

Some of you might know (if you follow me on social media) that I've recently been working on establishing my own freelance videography business. I've done freelance work before, but after a little while of questioning what I really want to do with my life (totes deep, I know), I decided this is what I want to pursue for now. I really enjoy filming and editing, and the great thing about freelancing is that you get to meet such a variety of interesting people and go to all sorts of different locations and events. Anyway, if you want to find out more about what I'm doing, you can take a look at my website: helengriffithsvideography.co.uk
So, I've been down in Cardiff filming a few things and visiting friend a fair bit over the last couple of weeks, and when I've been home I've been working on videos, plus I've just taken a part time job at a local pub - hence the blogging absence! Once I've got to grips with balancing things, there'll be more time for blogging.

It's got a lot colder here in the UK recently, which has meant digging out the winter jumpers. I bought this cropped khaki one last year, and I love the fact that it's soft and cosy but not too frumpy! Since it's fairly plain, I thought I'd wear my trusty black and white printed trousers to jazz up the outfit a bit.

My love of suede and fringing is no secret, and I'd been on the look out for a new fringed shoulder bag for a while, since my old favourite was on its very last legs. I spotted this one on my holiday to Croatia, in a little independent shop in Cavtat. It was exactly what I wanted, and could double up as a reminder of a lovely holiday - perfect!
